— ELT Expert & Cambridge Assessment English Speaking examiner

With a number of years in education, James is a passionate educator who has taught English in the UK, China, Malaysia and Ecuador.
 
His versatile classroom experience has seen him teach from very young learners and primary students through to working with secondary, university and Business English students.
 
He is a certified Cambridge Assessment English speaking examiner (Pre-A1 to C2 levels) and has spoken at a number of education conferences in Ecuador’s key cities: Quito, Guayaquil and Cuenca.

One of James’ main focuses is training teachers on any number of methodology teaching practices and the TKT teaching certificate. Along with preparing students for the Cambridge English Qualifications (primary, secondary and adult).

Most recently he held the post of regional manager for all operations for Cambridge University Press in Ecuador’s southern sierra and along the coast.

James stands by strong intercultural values thanks to his international upbringing where he has lived in Europe, Asia, South America and the Caribbean.
